Library Management
1. Ordering Department
This department gathers the orders from different faculties for materials to be bought, makes sure the materials ordered are not already available for use, prioritizes library needs, seeks financial supplies, procures and then registers the materials needed. If they intend to order a book, the students may get the order form from, and then return it to, the Lending and Storing Department .
2. Cataloging Department
This department indexes, through descriptive or analytic cataloging, classifies, and prepares the materials. The Library draws on the Anglo-American II cataloging rules and uses the Library of Congress classification system. Cataloging is done using computers and the Pars Azarakhsh software.
3. Lending and Storing Department
This department offers services like lending materials, extending membership, and reserving books. The number of books each member type may borrow at any single time and the length of time they are allowed to keep the books with them is as follows:

4. References and Periodicals Department
This department deals with reference works such as encyclopedias and dictionaries together with paper abstracts, indexes, theses, and periodicals. The servicing system is of the open-shelf type. The materials in this department may not be taken out. There is a Xerox machine available to users.
Membership Requirements
- A copy of the employment certificate for staff teachers or a copy of the student ID card for students.
- A personal photo
- Filling in the application form
- (For students) attending a course on how to use the library
Rules and Regulations
Accepting and observing the rules and regulations is a necessary condition for continued membership. Some are: The library stacks operates on a half-open-half-closed basis, meaning that only the teachers and sometimes graduate students may enter the stacks if necessary. Other members are not allowed to enter. The References and Periodicals Department operates on an open-shelf basis, meaning that members may directly look into the shelves and study their desired materials in situ. The materials in this department may not be taken out.

To helping the Library improve its services, members of the Library may offer their suggestions, criticisms, and complaints directly or indirectly (by means of a suggestion box).
